Something unpredictable about Singapore is their WEATHER! So bringing an umbrella is a necessity. It’s been raining here for a couple of days already and now we’re stuck in the house on a gloomy Sunday (which means I can update my outdated blog). Hooray!

It was almost a month since I blogged about the worst day of my life. Now, I can say that I finally moved on from that awful event. Indeed, God always has a better plan. 

Having said that, here are some of my fun activities during this weekend! :)

April 14  - My first 5 km race!

Most of my friends know that my parents and bf are both runners. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the sport. One day my friend asked me if I can join her in the Nike Goddess BFF run and so came my first race! The event took place at Sentosa with almost 5,000 participants! It was raining hard before the race so I thought the event will be cancelled. Luckily, it still pushed through even though the race route was too crowded! My unofficial time was 33 minutes and my father said that it was a good time for beginners! Yebah!

After the race, we had a bountiful dinner at Astons in Suntec. As expected, the food was absolutely delicious! 

April 15 - Pig Out Day!

Lunch at IKEA (where you can find the best meatballs in town!) ^^

After we’re done with our grocery, we went straight to Pasir Ris Park to celebrate our friend’s birthday in advance. We grilled some scallops, baked mussels, sting rays, squids, hotdogs and mushrooms. As much as we all loved the baked mussels w/ cheese and garlic, we all hated the mushrooms that tasted like crap >.<
